Student Design Competitions – Nord Arin Announces Winners
The 69 projects submitted to the Product Design and Furniture Decorations competitions were evaluated by a jury including the Nord Arin General Manager and the head of the Design, R&D, and Marketing departments.
Nord Arin Launches Three Design Competitions for Students at The Faculty of Visual Arts and Design Iași
Competitions are open to students from all specializations and years of study and will focus on product design, furniture decorations, and the integration of sustainable materials in wooden furniture. The submission period runs from March 1 to April 30, 2023. Nord Arin will award nine prizes totaling 6,000 lei based on innovation, creativity, aesthetics, functionality, and compliance with quality and safety standards.
RAM. The journey of a symbol
On RAM Dining Table, the horns of the ram are reinterpreted and redrawn according to the Nord Arin design vision and carved into the wood through a fine incision on opposite corners of the countertop, complementing the natural oak grain in a balanced way. The symbol is revealed through a subtle chromatic contrast and a play of depths at the surface of the table edge.

Nord Arin participated at the Salone del Mobile 2022 with a selection of premium furniture pieces, built of sustainable oak and painted in an exclusive selection of water-based finishes. We launched our latest designs under the “Heritage. Green. Design” concept, in a booth designed in the spirit of sustainability.
